The practice of alchemy included ways and means of extending life and keeping one’s youthful appearance as long as possible.  Arnaldus de Villanova was a 13th century physician believed to have been an alchemist and astrologer.  This 18th century volume reproduces his recipe (probably apocryphal)  for rejuvenating one’s youth.
