“Servanthood: Womanist Inquiry”
1997
Jacqueline Grant laid out three themes for her exploration of the subject of servanthood: a close look at the institution of domestic service as a place to analyze the true meaning of human relationships; humanity’s inability to see servants as human as a central, doctrinal problem; and the need for a revision of servanthood language as a starting point for developing Christian community.
