1990
Sheila Briggs, a Black Roman Catholic feminist born in London and educated in England and Germany, said “Feminist theology in enunciating its accountability must take into account that what we have to do is not create a social harmony … but create an ecology of human life that works out the difficult choices that must be made in our political economy and in our educational systems to allow various particularities to flourish.”
