Ellen T. Armour is the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Chair and Professor of Feminist Theology at Vanderbilt Divinity School (and Graduate Department of Religion). She directs the Carpenter Program in Religion, Gender, and Sexuality. She received her B.A. in Humanities from Stetson University, and both her M.A. and PhD from Vanderbilt University. The focus of her research and teaching contemporary continental philosophy, feminist theology, and theories of gender, sexuality, race, disability and embodiment.
