In 1993, Peabody and Vanderbilt officials developed plans for a complete restoration of the Social Religious Building to be completed by 1995 and to be rechristened with its new annex the Joe and Faye Wyatt Center, after the retiring 6th Chancellor and his wife who led the university into the new era of education and learning technology.
