Country Music: Black Roots and Legacies

Explore the archives of four artists that have made an impact on country and roots music, Rissi Palmer, Dom Flemons, Miko Marks, and Allison Russell. The final exhibit case explores the connections between the four artists through an archival perspective. All collections were purchased through the Vanderbilt Libraries and National Museum of African American Music Collections Initiative. The collections may be requested for viewing and viewed only in the reading room of Special Collections in the Jean and Alexander Heard Library.
