Sursum

About the title track written in the liner notes, “Sursum is the Latin prefix for “upward,” an expression which manifests itself in this work as a feeling of longing for a pursuance of something higher than oneself.” The works on this album were recordings in various locations and performed by various performers, some of which are faculty members or administrators at the Blair School of Music.
