This English translation of Dante’s Divine Comedy by Henry Francis Cary is heavily illustrated with over 800 drawings and art reproductions. In addition to the biographical sketch of Dante, it also includes extensive notes which are listed in parallel columns with the translated text. It is bound in limp dark brown tooled leather, with leather-laced edges, and features a large embossed profile of Dante on the front cover.
