Sue Ellen Parkinson

Parkinson uses her art to celebrate the Sacred Feminine, depicting the lives of saints in bright colors, highlighting their traits and defining totems, and wrapping them in distinctively shaped borders. As Parkinson considers her art as a form of prayer, many of Parkinson’s images, particularly those of Mary Magdalene, invite viewers to meditate on and receive her energy and wisdom.
