During Vanderbilt’s second decade, many of the social clubs poked fun at the administration. As seen in the club constitution that they published in the yearbook, the Vanderbilt Bachelor’s Association officially required members to be at least 70 years old, that they meet on April Fools’ Day, and the club officers had to conduct research on celibacy.
