This informational brochure from 1961 provides historical background on the 1905 fire that destroyed College Hall. It includes a two-page photograph spread of the ruins of the building and talks about the efforts by faculty, students, and Nashville citizens to raise money for a new building. Rebuilt with only one tower, the building was named for Chancellor Kirkland at his retirement in 1939.
