An underground blast of methane gas and coal dust had killed five miners deep within the mountain. The miner, along with fellow miners from the Pocohontas Coal Company\u2019s Morco mine in Devonia, Tennessee, formed a part of the rescue team. Rescue teams like this one were paid to practice once a week just for this kind of accident.
