Collection Spotlight: Stahlman Autograph Collection

James G. Stahlman, philanthropist and owner of the Nashville Banner newspaper, collected thousands of photographs, documents, and autographs of famous authors, actors, activists, artists, athletes, educators, royalty, politicians, and military figures from around the world. The materials he collected date from the 16th to the 20th century. Nearly 100 literary figures are represented in the collection, and four of their items are on display in this exhibit.
