Song of the Open Road

This book and another companion volume entitled Don’t Fence Me In by book artists Peter and Donna Thomas were constructed and bound as miniature books. The intricate binding on this book, Song of the Open Road, highlights the work and craftsmanship that binders put into their work. The small size and minimal amount of text allows emphasis to be put on the wooden spine of the book, which beautifully holds the pages together.
