The physical aspects of this book represent the prominence of theology’s role in print. Notice how there is a full page woodcut with “rubricated” wounds of Christ and the tree of Jesse. This Christian art originates to the Book of Isiah, and is often used as a metaphor the resurrection of Jesus.  The book is separated into sections, which are made of vellum- a material made of animal skin.
