Club de Tango, No. 48

Club de Tango, No. 48
Oscar Himschoot
Mayo-Junio 2001
A popular periodical published bimonthly in Buenos Aires from 1992-2005, Club de Tango was heavily illustrated and intended for tango lovers. The articles focused on the tango’s history and diaspora, its music and lyrics, and celebrities, such as Gardel. Since it was addressed to the general public, issues were not widely collected or held in US libraries. Professor Collier’s collection is valuable for its range of both popular and scholarly materials.
