The Matanzas poet, Carilda Oliver, was a frequent contributor to Vigía and often collaborated with artist Rolando Estévez. This special edition honored her 80th birthday. Repurposed materials include butcher paper and dowels for the broken arrow. The apple lifts to reveal a naked woman’s body.
