Lindsley Hall

1902
Built before the Civil War, Lindsley Hall initially served as the main building of the University of Nashville. When the school was fractured and amalgamated into Peabody College, Lindsley Hall began its history with Vanderbilt University. At the time, Lindsley Hall housed laboratories, a library, and meeting spaces for Vanderbilt's two main literary societies.
