[Beverly Plummer Collection Selections]

Beverly Plummer is a modern papermaker and book artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. She has worked with new and unique techniques and plant fibers to create papers that reflect her artistic and innovative approach to papermaking. Her book arts include a collaboration with composer John Cage in a new interpretation of the ancient Chinese book of changes, the I Ching.

Exhibited here are samples of her own and others’ papermaking from the Beverly Plummer Collection in Vanderbilt University Special Collections.
