Max McDonough

Max McDonough’s debut poetry collection, Python with a Dog Inside It, won the St. Lawrence Book Award from Black Lawrence Press. His poetry and prose have been published in The New York Times, POETRY, AGNI, Ecotone, T Magazine, Northwest Review, Best New Poets, and The Adroit Journal, among others. He earned his MFA from Vanderbilt University and his BA from the University of Virginia.
