In 1958 funds from Mrs. David Hume were provided to convert the Social Religious Building’s west parlor into the small Hume Chapel which was designed by Nashville architect Edwin Keeble and outfitted with a pipe organ. In 1993, during a renovation of the Social Religious Building, the Hume Chapel was dismantled.
