Recipe Pamphlets
The American consumer culture of the 20th century embraced a wide variety of new or improved services, ingredients, and kitchen gadgets, including electric refrigerators and ovens, mixers, and blenders. The ability to control storage and cooking temperatures, as well as the opportunity to save time and increase precision, provided opportunities for creative recipe construction. Farmers and food manufacturers also established trade groups to encourage novel uses of their products. While recipe pamphlets like these are less common in the internet age, they are still regularly included with consumer product purchases.
