Alchemy & Astronomy

In the 16th century, the prominent occult writer Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa compiled all contemporary magical knowledge into a series called De Occulta Philosophia. This is the third volume of a set of magical treatises which represents all occult knowledge of the 16th century. Created as a contribution to philosophical discussion, De Occulta Philosophia examines ceremonial magic, which invokes and binds spirits. According to Agrippa, it should only be practiced and discussed with respect for God and the hierarchy of angels.
