Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus

Mary Shelley originally published her classic novel, Frankenstein, in London in 1818.  The first edition was published anonymously, following by a second edition with the author’s name in 1823.  This first American edition was published in a set of two volumes in 1833.
