The Vanderbilt University March as played by the Vanderbilt Mandolin Orchestra
The Vanderbilt Mandolin Orchestra performed in many concerts during this period, with many of their songs composed by Emma L. Ashford, wife of Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds John Ashford. The group also recorded and published their music in several albums. There were other clubs devoted to musical performances, such as the Glee Club and the Choir Club.
