P.G. Wodehouse and Guy Bolton both began their careers in musical theater writing plays and music lyrics for productions at the Princess Theater in New York.  In later years, they resided in the same neighborhood in Remsenberg, New York, and remained close friends until Wodehouse’s death in 1975.  This photograph shows the men wearing the checked caps they both favored.
