At 93 years old, P.G. Wodehouse was still hard at work on this final novel in the Blandings series when he died in 1975.  The unfinished manuscript with Wodehouse’s notes on the ending was published in the U.K in 1977 and in the U.S. in 1978.  The plot features the usual assortment of misadventures and romantic maneuverings common to the Blandings series.
