Thank You, Jeeves is the first full length novel in the Jeeves and Wooster series. It was published in both the U.K. and the U.S. in 1934. Jeeves leaves the employ of Wooster for much of the story but returns after a series of misadventures for the pair at Chuffnell Hall. The 1936 film Thank You, Jeeves starring David Niven and Arthur Treacher bears no resemblance to the novel despite the use of the characters of Wooster and Jeeves. The book has also been adapted for radio, theater and television in both the U.S. and the U.K.
