Appearing first as a serial under the title The New Fold in The Captain magazine, Psmith in the City was first published in book form in the U.K. in 1910.  The plot revolves around the life of Rupert Psmith and his friend Mike while they work briefly in the banking industry before leaving for greener pastures.
