My Man Jeeves is a collection of short stories, four of which include Bertie Wooster and his intrepid valet Jeeves, while the remainder focus on Reggie Pepper, an early prototype for Wooster.  Published in book form in the U.K. in 1919, many of the stories ran as serials in the U.S. in magazines such as Saturday Evening Post and Collier’s Weekly.  The Jeeves stories were also adapted for the Jeeves and Wooster television series starring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie which aired between 1990 and 1993.
