The first Society newsletter was called “Comments in Passing” and debuted on August 29, 1980.  The September 15, 1981, issue sports a new title, “Plum Lines,” credited to member Doris Frohnsdorff, and is named in honor of Wodehouse whose friends and family affectionately called “Plum.”  The newsletter continues to be published quarterly under this title and features society news, book reviews, essays on Wodehouse publications and fictional characters, and other items of interest to members of the society.
